I help businesses meet their goals by designing engaging solutions that bridge the gap between employee skills and business needs. As an instructor, I specialized in building engaging courses from scratch that started with the necessary outcome and brought the learners to that point through projects, situations, and building knowledge. These courses changed learner behaviors and outcomes. These are the same skills I use to design solutions for businesses. I specialize in creating innovative e-learning courses, instructor-led trainings (ILT), virtual instructor-led trainings (vILT), microlearnings, blended learning, and job aids.
My design process uses ADDIE and SAM models. I start with a needs analysis, question the desired outcomes, and then write actionable business goals. I work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify appropriate material for trainings, and design learning with real-life situations and scenarios. My trainings are interactive and engaging. I enjoy working and collaborating with others to create the best training possible.
I have been in education for about 30 years. For the last year, I have been working as an Instructional Designer for two separate companies. I love designing trainings!
